Liz Flynn

Liz was born in Exmouth and has lived most of her life there. She now lives in Budleigh and loves nothing more than reading, knitting, walking, spirituality and photography. Most of Liz's career was spent working in finance at Devon County Council following her First Class degree in Communication Studies from the University of South Wales. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in management studies.

Liz is one of our in house therapists, you will meet with her when you come to our HQ for:

  • Reflexology
  • Metamorphic techniques
  • Spiritual healing

In 1995 I had a midlife crisis following major surgery and took an introductory course in Aromatherapy. That started many years of therapy studies while I was still working full time. In 2003 I volunteered at The Quiet Mind Centre in Exmouth for six years offering Reflexology and Spiritual Healing. In 2015 I resigned from my part time Admin job and am now totally self employed as a therapist.

I heard about Pete's Dragons when Diva Dragon was on the hunt for a Reflexologist. As soon as I met Alison I knew she had the personality and drive to make Pete's Dragons a big success and I wanted to be a part of it. Someone close to me suffers with bipolar disorder and attempted suicide aged 21. Their deep depressions since then have sometimes led again to suicidal thoughts. I have also helped a client manage her grief since her son committed suicide in 2014 aged 20.

Suicide has a devastating effect on families and if I can help them by being part of Pete's Dragons, providing reflexology, metamorphic technique and spiritual healing, it will be all to the good.
