What resources are out there for you?

There are multiple websites, books, support groups and charities that you may find a source of comfort as you grieve. We have put together what we think are the most useful for you on our resources pages. We have broken this out to 'Bereavement Support' and 'Suicidal Thoughts' and catagorised the resources under headings to help you identify which resource may be best for you.

One resource that we have found to be most useful is a book called "Help is at Hand - Support after someone may have died by Suicide". This guide has been designed to help you to choose when and what sections are most appropriate for you. A digital version can be downloaded from the website or you can order a physical copy. We recommend this book as a starting point.

Your friends, family or colleagues may also find it helpful to look through the guide so that they can begin to try and understand a little of what you are going through and how to find the right help. Some sections focus on how you are feeling; others on what may be happening. Throughout are some suggestions for sources of further support. There are also quotes from people who have been bereaved and who have experienced some of what you may be going through.

We welcome any recommendations of resources that you have found helpful and we will share these with the people that we help.
